Tricia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working with individual adults, couples, children and adolescents.
Tricia is dedicated to helping others free themselves from ineffective ways of thinking and behaving to reach a more satisfying and joyful life. Tricia values the research on evidence-based practices and strives to utilize the most effective approach for each unique person and family with whom she works. She has specialized training in sand play, play therapy, psychodynamic techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Tricia received a Masters’ Degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University along with experiential training at Bill Wilson Center in Santa Clara, Adolescent Counseling Services in Palo Alto, The Child Therapy Institute in San Rafael, Opportunity Plus Group Home in Oakland, Mid-Peninsula DBT in Redwood City, Momentum for Mental Health and Family Violence Counseling Associates in San Jose.
Tricia is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of CAMFT.
